The media focus more on who is the best looking! Sometimes theirs TV shows run contest on what girl is the better looking and the winner would get dinner with a handsome guy. The message that I got from the show was that in order to have dinner with a handsome you would need to be super hot. Also nowadays I see more teenage girls dressing sexier at younger age. Next cartoons nowadays are teaching children of the opposite sex at younger age and on some cartoon they even have the sex jokes! On the other hand sometimes media is very informative to parents and children. It depends also on what are you watching, different channels have didn’t things going on.

-I've noticed the sex jokes on cartoons too and I was shocked as well that they're showing these things to such a young audience.
-You're also right on the channels, how some don't show such things, and that's why parents now have the ability to lock certain channels or shows on their TVs so their kids won't be able to see.
Oh and good job :)
I agree! I cant believe how I see young girls dressing these days, it makes me sick that their parents allow them to leave the house like that!
I do agree with you, but I think there is a much greater focus on sexuality and body image. I think young kids are greatly influenced by shows that are on MTV and other channels, and it seems that every season something comes out that focuses even more on the looks of people and their sex appeal.
Yeah i agree, it is really discusiting what is found even on children's show. I am really upset at the televison networks
On point. Its important that your brought up the kids issue. Kids are seeing these things and what do they think. These images are embedded in their brains to look a certain way. Not saying everybody is becoming unhealthy thin or supper big, its just becoming more popular to look up to the media and the media is full of this.
